System Overview

FR 19® is used to control bleeding in the upper and lower extremities. It is the first and only tourniquet produced 100% locally in Turkey, patented under Turk Patent 2020/07492. The device features a durable plastic strapping buckle for fast application with less rotation of the capstan bar, a W-Rod for rapid and easy application with anti-slip grip and ragged structure, a Time Band and C-Lock system connected to the central apparatus for optional locking and loosening suitable for field conditions, a central apparatus made of durable, flexible, unbreakable plastic with embossed lettering for easy application in low-visibility conditions, and a night vision-friendly design for ease of application in poor visibility while also indicating tourniquet direction.
